KATHMANDU, July 19: Earthquake hit karateka Sunil Lama was handed over financial support of Rs 135,208 on Sunday.

National karate team coach Kushal Shrestha had helped raised the amount from various sportsperson and organizations. Lama's house located at Raniban, Kathmandu, was badly damaged by the April 25 earthquake.
Lama is the gold medal winner of the 11th South Asian Games and 13th Asian Shito-Ryu Karate Pacific Championship.
