Talking briefly to the media persons, Minister Pun said, he had requested President Dr. Yadav to issue ordinance on the anti-money laundering and ordinance on the organized crime control during the meeting.[break]
Minister Pun said he had held positive talks on issuing the ordinances as they are linked with the national pride and prestige and in the delay on issuing the ordinances, there is a possibility of Nepal falling in the black list in world arena.
"I have appealed to President Dr. Yadav to issue the two ordinances before February 18 before the international conference on anti-money laundering and the organized crime control," said Minister Pun.
"We also held talks on the contemporary political situations and the President is hopeful that consensus on various alternatives would be forged among the political parties soon," he added.
Responding the media persons´ query regarding the LP gas price hike, he said, "Though the price hike is procedurally correct, it is not relevant at a time when the environment for political censuses is forged."
