The district qualifiers for all three divisions have already concluded with the participation of 42 district associations. Three districts of the capital -- Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur -- were excluded in the district league.
"The A Division District League has 10 teams from among the 45 district associations and the final rounds of A Division will be held in Jhapa," ANFA General Secretary Dhirendra Pradhan said during a press conference in the capital.
The A division league will be played on the league-cum-knockout basis after dividing them into two groups. Winner of each group will advance to the final. The districts represented by the teams finishing at the bottom of each group will be relegated to B Division. The winner and the runner-up teams will receive Rs 400,000 and Rs 200,000.
Meanwhile, ANFA President Ganesh Thapa said that the winner of the A Division League will be given an opportunity to compete in some national level tournaments.
The B Division League, which consists 12 teams, will be held at two separate venues of Nawalparasi. The teams will be divided into four groups with winner of each group securing a semifinal berth. The winner and runner-up will be awarded a purse of Rs 300,000 and Rs 150,000 along with promotion to the A Division. The bottom two teams will be relegated to the C Division.
The C Division will be contested by 19 teams, divided into five groups, and will be played in five different districts. The winner of each group will again play a single round-robin game to determine the champion. The winner and the runner-up will be elevated to B Division and will receive Rs 200,000 and Rs 100,000.
The total cash prize for all three divisions is Rs 1.5 million while the expected cost for officiating the event is Rs 7.5 million.
