KATHMANDU, Nov 13: The fifth season of Century Bank Corporate Super Sixes is set to be held at Tribhuvan University international cricket ground, Kathmandu, from November 26 to December 1. The schedule was unveiled at an event held in Kathmandu on Monday.

The cricket event conceptualized by SS Events Pvt Ltd will feature 24 teams divided into eight groups with each group having three teams. Top two teams from each group after the round-robin matches will qualify for the pre-quarterfinals. Eight teams will qualify for quarterfinals and four teams will advance into the semifinals and the final. The organizers said that the quarter-final, semifinal, and final matches will be telecast live. 

Civil Bank is the defending champion, while ICFC Finance finished runner-up in the last edition. 

“The main theme of the project is to encourage the involvement of the corporate sector in the development of the cricketing field. The tournament will help corporate giants to come forward to promote sports,” said Raman Shiwakoti, a chief executive officer of SS Events and team manager of the national cricket team.
