REPUBLICA, Sept 18:The first FIFA MA Youth Coaching Course organized by the ANFA under the auspices of FIFA has kicked off in Kathmandu on Sunday.
Altogether 27 coaches from different districts are taking part in the five-day course at Hotel Annapurna under FIFA Instructor Kaming Kwok.
Addressing the opening ceremony of the program, ANFA Acting President Narendra Shrestha said that this coaching course was part of ANFA's plan of enhancing the skills of coaches in order to produce good coaches to develop the young talents.
He also thanked FIFA for giving ANFA an opportunity to organize such training course.
Similarly, instructor Kaming highlighted the importance of coaches in developing football in the country.
“On behalf of the FIFA president, I would like to extend my best wishes to all the participants of this course.
I am sure with the completion of this course, all the participants will be able to make significant contribution to Nepali football,” he added.
