BIRATNAGAR, June 19: Province 1 lawmaker Bimal karki has said that the shipment of fertilizers will be stolen mid-way similar to the incident in Dhading that took place on Saturday if the government fails to immediately provide fertilizers to farmers.

Lawmaker Karki called on the provincial government to immediately provide fertilizers to farmers or else the government will not be able to face their anger. "Farmers are in dire straits due to the non-availability of fertilizers during the planting season. The manure warehouse may catch fire." he said. 

Karki has drawn the attention of the provincial government and the federal government to provide fertilizer as per the demand before farmers take to the streets in agitation.
