KATHMANDU, Oct 17: Stakeholders say that the contribution of Nepali women should be linked with the economic aspects in order to enhance their contribution in the economic development of the country.



High level government officials and experts expressed this view in the launch of the Female Economic Journalist Association (FEJA) organized on Monday. FEJA is the first alliance of the Nepali women economic journalists that has targeted to enhance the capacity building of the women journalists.

Speaking at the program, Ramesh Hamal, chairman of the Securities Board of Nepal, said the initiative of women journalists could help improve financial literacy and dissemination of right information about the economy.
