Feedback on TJ officials’ selection sought

The recommendation committee for appointing the chairpersons and members of the Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission has invited the public to submit their opinions and suggestions on the selection process.

KATHMANDU, April 5: The recommendation committee for appointing the chairpersons and members of the Commission of Investigation on Enforced Disappeared Persons and the Truth and Reconciliation Commission has invited the public to submit their opinions and suggestions on the selection process.


During its meeting today, the committee decided to collect public feedback on the 2081 BS draft procedure for recommending officials to these commissions. Following the decision, committee spokesperson Dr Lily Thapa urged stakeholders to share their input.

The committee has published the draft on the official websites of both commissions and on the notice board of the Ministry of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs. It has requested all feedback to be submitted by April 8.
