Federal Democratic Republic came through the sacrifices of martyrs: PM Dahal

KATHMANDU, Jan 30: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that the country was able to achieve the Federal Democratic Republican system as a result of the sacrifices made by martyrs.

He said this while addressing an event organized to pay homage to martyrs in  Lainchaur today on the occasion of Martyr's Day.

Prime Minister Dahal said that the martyrs will continue to inspire the living people. Hesaid that martyrs, who gave their lives for progress and prosperity are immortal for the country and the people.

Dahal visited the at Shahid Smriti Park, Lainchaur and also offered flowers on the statues of martyrs  showing respect to their sacrifices. Mayor Balendra Shah, Deputy Mayor Sunita Dangol and others also attended the event to pay tribute towards martyrs at Shahid Smriti Park.
