 Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has instructed District Administration Offices to immediately launch investigation and take action against those involved in recent bomb explosions in various districts. In its written instruction to DAOs, the MoHA has asked to launch investigation and take stringent action against those involved in bomb explosions, senior officials.


Police arrest six suspects in connection with Nakhkhu bomb explosion



Police have arrested six suspects in connection with Friday's bomb explosion outside the corporate office of mobile phone operator Ncell at Nakhkhu in Lalitpur. Nepal Police Spokesperson SSP Uttam Raj Subedi said that a special squad of the police was deployed immediately after the explosion. "The special squad has been investigating into the incident,”

PM Oli celebrates 68th birthday by planting saplings



Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli today morning planted mango saplings on the premises of his official residence in Baluwatar to celebrate his 68th birthday. Home minister Thapa vows action against assailants



Home Minister Ram Bahadur visited Nepal Mediciti Hospital in Lalitpur to take the stock of those injured in a recent bomb explosion at Nakhkhu. During the visit, Home Minister Thapa said that the government would bear expenses for the treatment of those injured. On the occasion, Thapa vowed to take action against the perpetrators involved in Friday's bomb explosion.


More than 100 separatists detained in Kashmir raids in pre-election crackdown



More than 100 separatists in Kashmir were detained in overnight raids, police officials said on Saturday, as part of a crackdown on groups that might cause trouble ahead of nationwide elections set to be held by May. The move comes days after a suicide car bombing killed at least 40 Indian security personnel on Feb. 14. The Indian government has warned that it will use all options in its power to avenge the attack claimed by Pakistan-based militant group Jaish-e-Mohammed.


CYC Attariya wins DPL-3; registers three wkts victory over Mahendranagar United


CYC Attariya has won the third edition of Dhangadi Premier League. In the final match held at Fapla International Cricket Ground on Saturday, Attariya defeated Mahendranagar United by three wickets. Winning the toss, Mahendranagar United decided to bat first in the first innings of the match and scored 123 runs with the loss of seven wickets in allotted 20 overs game.
