FDF unveils month-long protests

KATHMANDU, Feb 12: Federal Democratic Forum (FDF) announced a month-long protest programs demanding a formation of neutral government to ensure fresh Constituent Assembly (CA) elections.



Speaking at a press meet organized in Anamnagar, Chairman of Madhesi People’s Right Forum-Nepal Upendra Yadav, who is also FDF coordinator, said that the protest programs were meant to safeguard the achievements of various people’s movements. [break]



“The fresh Constituent Assembly election is only possible if the present government resigns,” Yadav added, “If the government refuses to quit, it will be toppled through protests.”



The protest programs includes submitting memorandum to prime minister and chief district officers, corner meetings and torch rallies across the country, among others.
