Farmers to get compensation in Khagenkot

JAJARKOT, July 5: The Nalagadh hydropower project is to distribute compensation to the farmers affected by the project.


The project has started distributing compensation in cash amounting to Rs. 475,000 per ropani to the landowners in Khagenkot VDC-1 of the district, according to the project technical officer Shiva Bahadur Khadka.

A total of 531 ropani of land had been encroached in Khagenkot VDC and Sakla VDC of the district for the project. RSS
