Raut was sorry to miss the ongoing closed camp training of Region Number-6 Baitadi for the National T20 Tournament scheduled to kick off in Kathmandu on Saturday. "It turned to be an important day in our life and I could not attend the training. As both are key players in the men´s and women´s teams of Region Number-6, they will enjoy their honeymoon playing in the National T20 Tournament. They will leave Mahendranagar on Wednesday for the tournament. They were busy in training until Saturday and will have same routine from Tuesday.

"Initially, both of us could not share our feelings as both of us are introverts. However, I shared it with Maya through telephone for the first time," Saud recalled. "Though we were in love, it was difficult to share with our families".

Raut started her cricketing career four years ago under Coach Birendra Shahi while she was studying in Baijanath Secondary School, Kanchanpur. During her short career, Raut not only participated in national tournaments but also represented the country in the ACC Women´s Championship 2007, Malaysia, and in the ACC U-19 Women´s Trophy 2008, Thailand.
Nepal were runners-up in Malaysia while they won the title in Thailand. Raut was the highest run scorer among the Nepali batswomen in Thailand. She is pursuing her +2 degree in Janajyoti Multiple Campus, Mahendranagar.
Saud, 21, has been playing cricket since early childhood and represented the country in half a dozen of international tournaments of age group and senior level.
The couple wants to establish a cricket academy in Kanchanpur to hunt for new cricketing talents of the region in the future.
