Speaking of his experience, Arjun said, “My journey was complete in 66 days and it was only possible because of the blessings and support of everyone. It provided me with the energy to go on.”
He also brought back the flag of FAAN which he unfurled while at the peak of the highest mountain of the world.
Arjun scaled the peak on May 20 while Nisha reached the next day on May 21.

KATHMANDU, May 29: Actor Nisha Adhikari scaled the highest peak of the world on May 21, and she promises the view at the top is breathtaking. Republica caught up with the actor.
What were the first thoughts when you reached the peak?
The first thing that hit me was the beautiful sunrise. The sky is open and you’re at the top so there’s nothing at the eye level. Then you can see the sunrise lighting up the mountains and it is heavenly.
Watching the sunrise I felt that I earned the view. It truly felt like it was mine. The journey up the mountain is so difficult but that moment is worth everything. I also felt proud when I saw our country’s flag at the top. We met so many different people from different parts of the world at the base camp, and the fact that the highest mountain is in our country is a blessed feeling.
How long did you stay at the top?
It depends on the oxygen that you have, because you need it for the journey back to the camp. We enjoyed the view and the feeling of being at the peak for some 25 minutes before I started feeling cold so we headed down.
You trained for a year before you left. Was the training sufficient?
While the training was technically enough for our trip, it was more about adapting to the weather and the mountain conditions. It’s also wise to take good care of your health. Luckily, I didn’t suffer from any sort of cold or headache throughout the journey.
