KATHMANDU, Sept 10: F1 Soft and Nepal Sports Journalists Forum (NSJF) emerged victorious in the Coca Cola Indoor Corporate Cup 2016 cricket tournament on Friday.
F1 Soft overcame Gorkha Brewery by three wicket in the 12-over game played at the Velocity Arena in Raptopool. Put to bat first, Gorkha Brewery posted 74-run target riding on 22 runs from Rabindra Gautam. F1 Soft achieved the target in 10.1 over for the loss of four wickets. Rabindra Gautam and Bipul Dhakal scored 23 runs and 16 runs respectively for the winning team.
F1 Soft, NSJF triumph
In another match, NSJF made the light work of Facts Nepal recording six-wicket win. Choosing to bat first, Facts Nepal was bundled out for 36 runs. Subash Humagain claimed three wickets to bowl out Facts for the meager total. In reply, NSJF achieved the target in six overs for the loss of one wicket.
Subash remained not out on 11 runs for NSJF. In other matches of the day, Yeti Airlines overcame Bottlers Nepal by six wickets, Sipradi Trading thumped Premier Insurance by 50 runs and Kantipur Television recorded 31-run win over Facts Nepal.
