Police nabbed Sherpa on the charge of posting status on social media that could jeopardize social harmony.
Confirming the arrest, SSP Sarbendra Khanal said Metropolitan Police Crime Division arrested Sherpa from Bouddha in the capital.
“Messages that could threaten social harmony have been circulated through his Facebook accunt. Arrest was made for investigation to that end,” SSP Khanal told Myrepublica, “Details can been made public only after thorough studies.”

He had updated the status saying the Home Minister as murderer along with six photos of Birgunj protests today morning.
He had been uploading the graphic contents violating the rules of Facebook and faced an action too. Facebook had blocked one of his photos saying 'Warning: Graphic Photo...' as it violated its rules.
Sherpa is a central committee member of Federal Socialist Forum Nepal led by Upendra Yadav. He has 5,000 friends and around 20,684 followers in Facebook.
