Ex-Japanese PM visiting Nepal

KATHMANDU:Former Japanese Prime Minister Yukio Hatoyama is arriving in Kathmandu on September 14 on a good will visit to Nepal.



 According to Spokesperson at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) Dipak Dhital, Hatoyama will hold meetings with high level political leaders, including President Dr Ram Baran Yadav and Chairman of Interim Election Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi during his six-day stay in Kathmandu.[break]



 “This is a goodwill visit. The visit has no specific agenda,” said Dhital. Hatoyama served as the prime minister of Japan from 16 September 2009 to June 2010. He was the first prime minister from the modern Democratic Party of Japan.
