Ex-Indian foreign secy in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU, May 13: Former Foreign Secretary of India Salman Haidar is in Kathmandu to participate in a 2-day regional conference on “Afghanistan in SAARC: Towards Deeper Engagement” being held from May 14.



The conference being jointly organized by the Centre for South Asian Studies (CSAS) and Konrad Adenauer Stiftung is being participated by Deputy Speaker of Afghan parliament Fawzia Koofi, Director General of Afghan Foreign Ministry Faramarz Tamanna along with a dozen academics and policy makers of the SAARC region, CSAS said.
