KATHMANDU, August 5: Former Chief Justice Sushila Karki has taken to the streets to pile pressure on the government to address demands of Dr Govinda KC in the capital on Saturday.


Hundreds of supports from various walks of life are participating in the protest rally in support of Dr KC. The protest rally is now heading to Baneshwar from Maitighar Mandala.

Flanked by human rights activists Krishna Pahadi, civil society leader Subodh Pyakurel among others, Karki is leading the rally.


Protestors are jingling bells on a symbolic note to heap pressure on the lawmakers to endorse Medical Education Bill which is now in the Parliament.


Crusader KC has been staging fast-unto-death with seven point demands including the endorsement of medical education bill for the last 13 days. This is his 11th fast-unto-death.
