We stress the need for Nepal to live up to fundamental human rights, and the need for the proposed Truth and Reconciliation Commission to meet the standards of international law. We also encourage the parties to meet their commitments on the return of seized land and the YCL,” states the joint press statement.
As friends and well-wishers of Nepal, the EU missions together with Norway and Switzerland reaffirm their full support in this pivotal time and look forward to the finalisation of the Constitution.
