EU Ambassador to Bangladesh also recalls 'Blockade'

KATHMANDU, May 10: Ambassador of European Union to Bangladesh Rensje Terrink has recalled 'Blockade' imposed by India after the Mega earthquake and constitution of Nepal issued on 2015.


She has mentioned in her tweet that 'these images are hard to forget' about attaching a photo in a hashtag #BlockadeWasCrimeMrModi. Terrink was an ambassador of European Union to Nepal during a six- month- long blockade, 2015.

Social Media has been awash with messages against Modi for his Nepali visit a day before Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Nepal on Friday. 


There are so many hashtags like #BlockadeWasCrimeMrModi, #ModiNotWelcome which are on trending. 


This is PM Modi’s third visit to Nepal after becoming the 16th Prime Minister of India. A special security has been arranged for Modi this time, never seen before. Security has been beefed up in Kathmandu, Janakpur, and Muktinath.
