Etihad Airways supports 'Working Hands'

KATHMANDU, Nov 29: Etihad Airways has sent a six-member team of health workers to Lalgadh Leprosy Hospital to support UK-based charity 'Working Hands'.

KATHMANDU, Nov 29: Etihad Airways has sent a six-member team of health workers to Lalgadh Leprosy Hospital to support UK-based charity 'Working Hands'.



Issuing a statement, the company said that the team led by Dr Donald Sammut will treat leprosy patients of the area.



"Our aim is to treat patients whose hands have been paralyzed by leprosy”, Dr Donald said in the statement.



Yeti Airlines has also offered its support by providing complimentary excess baggage for the internal flight from Kathmandu to Janakpur, close to Lalgadh, the statement added.
