KATHMANDU, Jan 26: Etihad Airways' passengers from Nepal can enjoy the airline's recently launched Airbus A380 daily service on Abu Dhabi-New York route with excellent connections from Kathmandu.
Issuing a statement, the airlines said guests traveling from Kathmandu on Etihad Airways' flight EY293, operated by an Airbus A320, depart at 20:15 pm daily, arriving into Abu Dhabi at 1:10 am the following day.

"After a short transit, they connect onto the A380 flight EY103 at 3:20 am, with a scheduled arrival into New York's JFK International Airport at 9:10am. The A380 features the airline's award-winning cabin interiors introduced on one of Etihad Airways' twice-daily Abu Dhabi - New York scheduled services," the statement added.
To mark the launch of the airline's signature Airbus A380 service between Abu Dhabi and New York, Etihad Airways' Kathmandu office held a promotional draw giving one lucky winner a return Business Class ticket to the US east coast.
"Caroline Sen Gupta, who lives in Kathmandu, was chosen among hundreds of entrants in the 'Win a Trip in our Business Studio to New York' consumer promotion.
"Events and promotions such as these give us opportunities to meet and interact with our guests and trade partners and provide them with updates on our products and the travel experience they'll enjoy when flying with us, said Pawana Shrestha, Etihad Airways' general manager Nepal, in the statement.
