Maoists have been asking the Prime Minister’s resignation while the ruling allies have been urging the implementation of past agreements by the Maoists. They have been interpreting the crux of the three-point pact inked on Friday night in their own way.
Vice chairman Narayankaji Shrestha and Post Bahadur Bogati from Unified CPN (Maoist), chief whip Bhim Acharya from UML and chief whip Laxman Ghimire and Prakash Man Singh from Nepali Congress were present in the meeting.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the big three parties is underway at the CA building. The meeting was called by the Prime Minister to discuss the contentious political issues including the spirit of the three-point agreement.
