Employee adjustment after a month, local-level top priority

KATHMANDU, July 29: The government has put in priority the adjustment of employees at center, provinces and local levels. Among the three-tiers, local-level is further prioritized because local levels are directly linked with the people's activities.

KATHMANDU, July 29: The government has put in priority the adjustment of employees at center, provinces and local levels. Among the three-tiers, local-level is further prioritized because local levels are directly linked with the people's activities. 


Spokesperson at the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, Suresh Adhikari, said the employees at local levels would be adjusted in the beginning which starts after a month. 

He further said the employee adjustment process would begin from September as quotas for the employees have already been approved and the Ministry has issued Employees Adjustment Act-2074 BS for the same.

There is a lack of around 15,000 employees at local levels. Adhikari said some of the employees in the center would be assigned to local levels and employees, who were earlier deputed at the regional directorates, would be mobilized to provinces. 


Similarly, the Ministry today deputed newly appointed 80 section officers to local levels. The Spokesperson Adhikari said that the Ministry has been deputing the employees in local levels every day. RSS
