POKHARA, Dec 21: A local group of Pokhara organized awareness programs on security measures that need to be undertaken during emergency situations at the city's schools. 
The program was organized on the initiative of Water Safety Nepal. Interactive programs were held in Pokhara-based Happy Boarding School and Rainbow Children's Home. Kits for primary treatment were made available for the school and the children's home on the occasion.

Nine students affiliated to Water Safety Nepal were actively involved in the program. They had organized a charity at Kathmandu-based Lincoln School and raised the funds, which were used to buy safety kits and other materials.
