At a meeting of parliamentary committee on International Relations and Human Rights on Tuesday, Foreign Minister Sujata Koirala had told that the embassy had written a letter to the ministry saying that there was no need to clarify “baseless” and “irresponsible” allegation.
The party office bearers´ meeting was held to settle the agenda of Central Committee (CC) meeting scheduled for Thursday. “We discussed the agenda for the meeting,” he said. “We will again sit tomorrow and settle the agenda for discussions.”
Sources said the Maoists´ CC meeting will discuss the controversy over separate meetings of Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Vice Chairman Baburam Bhattarai with Indian prime minister´s special envoy Shyam Sharan and the threats issued by Indian embassy staffer to lawmaker Ram Kumar Sharma, among other issues.
