KATHMANDU, Nov 29: The Embassy of Nepal, Islamabad participated in the MOFA Charity Bazar in Islamabad in which the Embassy had a stall where it displayed Nepal’s traditional products, curio items and tourism products. The Embassy also participated in the food festival of Bazar where Momo was served.
According to a statement issued by the Embassy, the chief guest of the event, first lady, Samina Alvi, wife of President of Pakistan Arif Alvi and other dignitaries visited the Nepali stall and enquired about the products of Nepal.
Similarly, large number embassies in Islamabad, tourism entrepreneurs, hotels and other business ventures had their stalls in the bazar. A large number of Pakistani and foreign nationals had visited the Nepali stall in the bazar with a great interest in the products and enquiring about the culture, according to the statement.
