KATHMANDU, Aug 24: Electricity service will be disrupted for three hours on Saturday in various locations under the Pulchowk Distribution Center in Lalitpur.

Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has issued a notice stating that electricity will be disrupted from 11 AM to 2 PM today in various locations served by the Bagmati Feeder and Teku Pulchowk Feeder under the Pulchowk Distribution Center.

According to the NEA, electricity will be disrupted in the areas of Sanepa Ram Mandir, Gusingal, Advanced College, Leela Ghar, Amarawati, Sanepa Mode, and Radiant School under the Pulchowk Distribution Center. The disruption is necessary due to the need to shut down the feeder for underground project work, as stated by the NEA.

Similarly, under the Teku Pulchowk Feeder, electricity will be disrupted in the areas of Balkhu Health Post, Sanepa Chowk, Jhamsikhel, Pulchowk, Pradhan Senapati Quarter, Thadodhunga, and Harihar Bhawan. The disruption is due to the need to shut down the feeder for underground line-related work, according to the NEA.

The NEA has also mentioned that if the work is completed before the scheduled time, the power may be restored earlier than planned.
