PHALEBAS, PARBAT, Oct 19: All political parties have accelerated preparations for the upcoming elections to the House of Representatives and State Assemblies in Parbat district.
The election fever has gripped all the political in the district in the recent days as the polls date round the corner. The political parties have been carrying out different election related activities in order to better perform in the elections as well as the District Election Office has been active in the preparations of the elections.
Dengue cases on the rise in Parbat
The District Election Office, Parbat, has started activities for the arrangement of polling centres.
In other hand, selection of temporary police has started here. More than 1,300 people have filed applications for the same, according to the District Police Office, Parbat.
Political parties have sent the name of candidates in the centre for finalization of the candidates and have started a campaign to lure the voters.
The Chief Election Officer has been appointed in this regard. There are now 107,300 voters in the district. (RSS)
