KATHMANDU, March 17: If you are a music lover and would love to attend a musical festival, then music festival ‘Echoes In The Valley - Resonance Edition’ that going to be held on Saturday is the place to be. The event, Echoes In The Valley (EITV), is a biennial music festival that takes place in Kathmandu. The Resonance Edition is set to take place in Banepa as per the press statement released by EITV.
It added that the festival strives to uncover, revive and make relevant intangible heritages and disappearing sounds by showcasing local music, art, and performances of everyday rituals. It transforms small neighborhoods into grand stages for musical conversations. International and local artists perform at the event. The organizers said that artistic endeavors such as EITV should move beyond the saturated capital city of Kathmandu, which is the reason why the Resonance Edition is being organized in different locations in the old town of Banepa.
