Talking to media persons at Bharatpur Saturday, Election Commissioner Sharma expressed concerns over rising incidents of the violation of election code of conducts by political parties of late.[break]
"Political parties who are taking part in the Constituent Assembly (CA) election are reportedly breaching the election code of conducts and the Commission is committed towards a strict implementation of the election directives," she said.
She further added that the preparations for the November 19 election have reached final stage. Election Commissioner Sharma was here in course of monitoring the poll-related activities in the district. She monitored the Chitwan constituency No.4 today. She said she found Chitwan at a lower-level than other districts in view of the violation of the election code of conducts.
