KATHMANDU, July 13: The Election Commission (EC) has launched online registration for voter's roll with photos in the Kathmandu Valley.
The voters’ registration process has been further simplified and has been launched as a pilot project in Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur from Tuesday, according to the EC.
Voters can cast votes using citizenship certificate
All eligible Nepali nationals, who are yet to register their names in voters’ list, could log in to www.election.gov.np and fill in the personal details and submit to the District Election Offices in respective districts, according to a statement issued by the EC.
Once the registration is over, one can contact the related District Election Office with a copy of print with symbol number and other necessary documents for taking photos and fingerprint, EC spokesperson Shaligram Poudel Sharma said.
