According to the election code of conduct, the political parties participating in the by-elections must conduct election campaigns in a civilized and disciplined manner.

It is mentioned in the code of conduct that the permission of the local administration should be obtained before election campaigning, while the people involved in election campaigning are not allowed to make and use various campaign materials including stickers, t-shirts and caps.

Different political parties will have to manage two people as chief propagandists for nationwide campaigning and for that they will have to submit an application to the Commission and after the permission of the Commission they will be allowed to use helicopters.
