Earthquake tremors felt in far-western region

KATHMANDU, Feb 27: Two earthquakes have been recorded in the bordering area of the Far Western Region on Monday morning.



According to the National Seismological Measurement Centre Lainchaur, the earthquakes – one with the magnitude of 4.4 Richter scale occurred at 4.41 am and another 4.9 Richter scale at 4.53 am this morning. [break]



The epicenter of the earthquake was around Pathrasi Bhanjyang (pass) at the border of Bajhang and Darchula districts, the centre said.
