Each player of victorious Nepal (Red) gets Rs 50,000

KATHMANDU, March 17: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal honored 20 players of the Nepal (Red) team that lifted the PM Cup earlier this week by awarding Rs 50,000 each, at a special function in the capital, Tuesday. [break]



Three coaches of the winning team also got Rs 50,000 each, while the team manager and three physicians got Rs 30,000 each. The cost of the award was shared by the government and All Nepal Football Association.



Nepal (Red) had won the Prime Minister´s Cup beating Sri Lanka 4-2 in tie-breakers after a goalless draw in an epic final at the Dasharath Stadium on Saturday.
