KATHMANDU, Oct 3: The Diversity Visa (DV) lottery registration for 2021 opened on Wednesday.
Issuing a press statement on Wednesday, the US Embassy in Kathmandu has urged the DV entrants to apply well before the November 5 deadline.

Unlike previous years, this year’s entries must include the applicant’s passport number, country of issuance, and passport expiration date. The embassy has clarified that the application is free and that there is no need to take the help of consultants.
“The US embassy recommends against using a consultant to assist you with your application. Please consider using a family member, friend or other trusted person if you need assistance. No matter who provides assistance, you are solely responsible for your own application,” it said.
