KATHMANDU, January 1: Dusit Princess Kathmandu celebrated the arrival of 2025 by hosting a lively New Year’s Eve event that brought together guests for a complete experience of fine dining, music, and festivities.
The celebration featured an International Gala Dinner at SOI from 7 pm onwards on December 31, where guests enjoyed a variety of sophisticated international cuisines accompanied by live piano music, creating an elegant dining experience. The guests were also treated to two rounds of complimentary select beverages and door prizes.
Meanwhile, the Countdown Party at the KIBU Sky Lounge offered a panoramic backdrop of the city, live music by a band, and a DJ, making it a popular spot to welcome the New Year. The guests were offered two rounds of complimentary drinks and an extravagant range of international cuisines in a buffet, prepared and served by remarkable chefs who brought life to the party with their display of fire during the open cooking experience.

The event also included a Kids’ Zone, ensuring families could enjoy the evening together. The hosts offered babysitting services, a magic show for kids, creative face paintings and a special menu catered for kids that included a number of treats for the young ones. Lucky draws added excitement, with several guests winning prizes during the night.
As the clock struck midnight, attendees joined in a collective countdown filling the sky lounge with anticipation which transformed into a joyous atmosphere of cheer and celebration followed by an exchange of pleasantries marking the start of 2025.
