DSMPCI investigating team holds two vegetable carrying containers

KATHMANDU, Aug 20: The investigation done by the team of Department of Supply Management and Protection of Consumers Interest (DSMPCI) has taken hold of two vegetable containers from Kalimati vegetable market.


The investigating team comprising of 12 members that reached the vegetable market at 3 today caught hold of two containers that were unable to show papers and bills said Dipak Raj Pokhrel, member of the DSMPCI.

Both the containers are under the supervision of Metropolitan Police Circle, Kalimati. A driver is under custody while another is missing.


The investigation is going on, Pokhrel added. After the investigation, the team started investigating on other shops as well.


Shopkeepers were trying to hinder the investigation telling that they were not informed about it.
