KATHMANDU, March 14: Dr Govinda KC, who had announced to start hunger strike from Tuesday demanding resignation of Chief Justice Gopal Parajuli, has postponed it for five days. This will be his 15th hunger strike. The doctor cited Monday's US-Bangla plane crash as the reason for postponing the hunger strike.
Dr KC issued a statement Tuesday, expressing his condolences to the bereaved families. Forty-nine people died in the plane crash. "I am anguished by the loss of lives in the plane crash, so I decided to put off my hunger strike for five days until March 18," said Dr KC.
