Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha's Press Coordinator Kamal Giri informed that there will be on-site monitoring of the road from Kamal Binayak, the broken slab to Nagarkot.

Shailung Construction has won the contract for the Kamal Binayak-Nagarkot road section. This project has become a disturbing project as the work has not been completed despite repeated deadlines. People have been suffering from the delay in construction for years.

When Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha asked for an explanation, the construction company promised to complete all the work by the end of March. Deputy Prime Minister Shrestha's Secretariat has informed that monitoring has been done to get on-site information about the progress of the same.

DPM Shrestha warned that the government will not tolerate the delay in repairing the Kamalbinayak-Nagarkot road due to the negligence of the contractor.  Shrestha, who went to monitor the road today, while talking to the locals, said, "It is not for any other reason, it is because of the negligence of the contractor, we will not tolerate it anymore.”

DPM Shrestha also said that the complaints made by the people are justified and he will show them by working now. "There is a reason to express concern and interest. That is why we have to respect people," said  Shrestha, "But this work needs to be completed on time."
