As he said, the only slogan would not take the country towards prosperity, but a concrete policy was necessary. He was of the opinion that there was no need for another struggle for political rights in the country and go underground to exercise politics as of Pushpalal Shrestha, BP Koirala and Madan Bhandari.

"It is high time for contributing to efforts meant for bringing economic development and prosperity and revisions in policies, procedures and structure are essential to pave the way towards that end." As he stressed on the occasion, intellectual community should warn political leaders whether their activities are in line with commitments.

On the occasion, the Deputy Prime Minister launched a book titled " Baudhik Darpan' published by the circle. As stated by the organization chair Bharat Raj Pokhrel, the publication includes 19 articles based on the theme of how to attain economic development and prosperity in Nepal. He took the time to call on the government to consult with intellectual community on the matter. RSS
