DPM Pokharel inaugurates new buildings of Budhanilkantha School

KATHMANDU, Feb 17: Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel inaugurated two new buildings of Budhanikantha School on Saturday during a function organized to mark the 47th annual day of the school.

Speaking at the function, DPM Pokhrel stated that Budanilkantha School has been addressing the actual needs of the community and the nation as a whole.  “It is praiseworthy that Budanilkantha School has been doing well in providing a good learning environment to its students,” he said.

One of the two buildings is a girls' hostel while the other one is the school block. The school students displayed various life skills as well as computer coding and programming, which they were taught throughout the year.

During the annual day, the school also awarded the best-performing students. A total of 10 teachers and 20 staffers were awarded by the school. 

“We have been awarding students, teachers and staffers with awards on merit basis on this day from the very beginning because it encourages them to keep performing well in their respective field,” said Hom Nath Acharya, the school principal.
