DPM Mahara refutes rumour of budget cut in Rolpa

KATHMANDU, May 21: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Krishna Bahadur Mahara, has said that the incumbent government was committed to infrastructure and holistic development of Rolpa district.

KATHMANDU, May 21: Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance Krishna Bahadur Mahara, has said that the incumbent government was committed to infrastructure and holistic development of Rolpa district. 


A press note issued by the DPM's private secretariat today said that there was no budget cut to the developmental projects of the district.

The press note refuted the reports that the developmental budget was cut off due to political confrontation. The press note further said that the rumour falsely linked his and Prime Minister's name in some issues. 


The note clarified that the budget for constructing Libang-Madichaur-Junwang was not cut off and was allocated as per the requirement. RSS
