The school had to be closed down after 104 students among the 112 students fell ill, principal of the School, Ram Bahadur KC said.

We will observe the attendance of the students today and tomorrow, and decide when to resume classes, he said.

Viral fever has been taking a huge toll on the students in different parts of the VDC recently.

The Dimuwa Primary School at Dimuwa Bazaar also remains closed since Thursday after more than 40 students of the school were affected by the disease.

High fever, body pain, loss of appetite, vomiting, headache, redness of the eyes and cold are some of the symptoms of viral fever that normally spreads through intake of contaminated food or water, and by direct contact.
