"Following the five-point deal, the government has a caretaker status. Thus we draw the attention of the government not to take decisions that could affect the country in the long-run," NC General Secretary Bimalendra Nidhi told Republica.

Cabinet meeting held a few days ago took a decision on the transfers of senior government officials. The NC has also warned the government not to fill vacancies in various universities without consulting the main opposition party.

"We won´t accept the decisions taken without consulting our party," reads the statement issued by the party.

The CWC meeting also finalized the agendas for two-day national meeting of party´s district presidents from across the country that will take place in Dhulikhel from June 12.

"Issues related to the peace process, current political situation, mobilization of party organizations, among others, are the agendas of the meeting," Nidhi said.

NC´s regulation was tabled at the party´s CWC meeting held Monday. "The regulation will be finalized incorporating the feedbacks to be floated by party´s district presidents," state the decision.
