KATHMANDU, Feb 17: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that no one should be afraid to take a stand for the US-aid Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact agreement.

KATHMANDU, Feb 17: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that no one should be afraid to take a stand for the US-aid Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) compact agreement.


Speaking at the launch of Nepali Congress leader Arjun Narasingha KC's book 'A Brief History of the Nepali Congress' on Thursday, Prime Minister Deuba said that the MCC would be tabled in parliament and move forward by accepting the results.

“We don’t know if it will be passed or not. We have already decided to pass it unanimously from the party and the parliamentary party, for which I am taking initiatives,” Deuba said. “The government wants to table it but we will have to accept the result whether the proposal is passed or not.”
