KATHMANDU, Sept 28: Domestic flights from and to the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) have partially resumed.
TIA Chief Jagnnath Niraula said that domestic flights to areas with favorable weather conditions resumed from 12 PM today.

"The airport with the IFR system was reopened after the weather cleared," he said.
According to him, flights have been resumed at airports including Bhairahawa, Biratnagar, Pokhara, Dhangadhi, and Nepalgunj.
Earlier, the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) had suspended all flights from Friday evening. TIA Chief Niraula stated that all airports, except Bharatpur, have reopened and flights have begun operating partially.
However, he mentioned that flights could be suspended again if the weather turns unfavorable.
