Nepal Medical Association has halted all non-emergency services at healthcare institutions nationwide, citing concerns for their safety and demanding action against the perpetrators involved in the Hetauda incident.

Over the death, the relatives of the victim attacked Dr Bikash Thapa and Dr Prashant Bidari Sancho Hospital in Hetauda on September 13, over a month later. The Association has launched protests and called for action against those responsible for the Hetauda incident.
Unfortunately, this suspension of services, excluding emergency ones, has inconvenienced patients.
