KATHMANDU, Mar 1: The doctors have concluded that the former Prime Minister Babu Ram Bhattarai is not suffering from neuro-endocrine cancer and have suggested that he undergo surgery immediately.
After conducting Biopsy, DOTA NOC tests, Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) and PET CT Scan, the medics involved in treatment concluded that Bhattari is not suffering from the cancer. However, they have suggested Bhattari to undergo surgery as soon as possible to remove the tumor from his body. “Delay in surgery may result in serious consequences,” according to the doctors.

Bhattari had flown to India for medical treatment on February 21 and was admitted to the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences in Delhi on February 23.
